Obituary of Patsy Free

Patsy Free, 56, of Gate City, passed away unexpectedly (Tuesday March 18, 2014) at her home. She has lived most of her life in Scott County and was the receiving supervisor at TempurPedic in Duffield. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis K. Free; maternal grandparents, Noble and Molly Light; paternal grandparents, Mack C and Laura Barker Free She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Light Free; brother, Jerry Free and wife Glenda and their children, Daniel and Megan Free; close friends, Ken and Jeanne Duggart and Erma Nideffer; uncle, Sam "Zip" Light and wife Phyllis; aunts, Martha Light, Virginia Free, Betty Free, June Free, Sharlie Housewright, Judy McCurry and Janet Cox; several cousins, nieces, nephews and her friends at TempurPedic. The family will receive friends from 5 till 7pm Friday (March 21, 2014) at Scott County Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm Saturday (March 22, 2104) at Holston View Cemetery with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating. Pallbearers will be Darla Lipe, Sam "Zip" Light, Eddie Free, Lesley Free, Philip Free, Michael Free and Roger Free. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Ryans, Ken Duggart and Rick Peaks Carter-Trent/ Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Free family.
