Obituary of Arcemas Street

Arcemas (Art) Street, of Church Hill, TN, (formerly of Westminster, MD) died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Church Hill Rehab and Nursing Home in Church Hill, TN. Art was born in Bueladean, NC on 10/2/37. Art graduated from Baltimore's Poly Tech High School in 1955. He worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Co., retiring in 1983. He moved to Port St. John, FL and worked for 7 UP and DMT Trucking. He then officially retired and moved to Church Hill, TN in 2001. He spent his remaining years enjoying life and his grandchildren. He especially liked attending flea markets and auctions. He was the son of the late Clyde and Frankie Street. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Nancy Kay (Coon) in 2010; brother, Alaska Street. Art is survived by his sister, Burdell Adkins, of Hampstead, MD; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tony Andrighetti of Church Hill, TN; son and daughter in law, Dave and Terry Street of Westminster, MD; also survived by 8 grandchildren and their spouses Kim and Darren Loper, Scott and Carrie Cullen, Niki and Kyle Dugan, Erin and Josh Simmons and Sean, Evan, Kyra and Leah Street; also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jaden Loper, Anthony Jackson, Elizabeth and Noah Cullen, Olivia Dugan, Lucas and Isabella Simmons and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing, and inurnment will be private at Church Hill Memorial Gardens, Church Hill, TN at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the following organization of your choice, in honor of his grandchildren searching for a cure.
