Obituary of Jeanette Lawson

JEANETTE LAWSON Church Hill- Jeanette Lawson, 75, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning (December 25, 2013) at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. She was a loving housewife and homemaker for many years. Jeanette enjoyed spending time playing bingo. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lawson; sons, Leroy Lawson and Elvis Lawson; sister, Treva Vaydak; her mother, Dolly Christian; father, Gale Barton. Jeanette Lawson is survived by her grandchildren, Jamie Fink & husband Rex, Chad Vaydak, Katie Dollar & husband David, and Roy Lawson; great grandchildren, Ethan and Conner Fink, Andrew and Nadya Dollar; a special daughter, Linda Lowe; her sister, Pat Christian; a niece, Patricia Flynn; his nephew, Justin Lawson and his uncle, Pat Barton. Calling hours will be held on Sunday (December 29, 2013) from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday (December 29, 2013) at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh, officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral service at Morning Star Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
