Obituary of Debra Gail Watts
Gate City - Debra Gail Watts, 49 of Gate City, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 22, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness. Born in Kingsport, Debra had lived in Gate City all of her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Davis and her son, Travis Watts.
Debra is survived by her daughters, Linda Watts and Brandy Watts; son, Scottie Watts all of Gate City; mother and step-father, Joann and Roy Stapleton of Nickelsville; granddaughter, Sierra Alvarez; grandsons, Japeth Alvarez, Tanner Dingus, Isaiah Watts and Jayden Dingus; sister, Lisa Adams and husband Larry of Gate City; half-brother, Austin Davis of Gate City; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2013 at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City.
A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Danny Grizzle officiating. Music will be provided by the Gate City Pentecostal Church.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Watts Family Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
