Obituary of Jerry McKee

Jerry Ray McKee, 46, of Mt. Carmel, went to be with the Lord Saturday October 19th, 2013. A native of Enterprise, Alabama, he has lived in the area for the last 20 years. He worked as a truck driver for J.B. Hunt and attended Gravely Baptist Church. Jerry loved going fishing and Alabama football. More importantly, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby McKee and Glenda Carr and a brother, Mike McKee. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Donna McKee; daughter, Christina Harris and husband Jeremy, Glade Spring, VA; son, Jeremy McKee and fiance', Mikaylah Stapleton; two grandsons, Landon (a.k.a- Butterbean) Harris and Hunter Harris; two sisters, Jeanie Smith and husband Alvin and Janie Powell and husband, both from Wicksburg, AL; several nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 till 7pm Monday at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill. A memorial service will follow at 7 with Pastor David Salley officiating.
