Obituary of Minnie Lee Klepper

Minnie Lee Klepper, 91, of Mt. Carmel, the loving wife of James L. Klepper for 68 years, departed this life Tuesday morning, September 17, 2013 to be with her Heavenly Father and to be reunited with her infant son, James Robert Klepper and other family members. She was a member of Orebank Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her son she was preceded in death by one great grandson; parents, Henry and Rachael (Davis) Catron; brothers, Robert and Vernon Catron; half-sister, Sudie Hayes. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, James L. Klepper of Mt. Carmel; three daughters, Juanita Womac and husband, Max of Greeneville; Rosetta Beavers and husband, David of Rome, GA, and Roberta Thomas and husband Steve, of Mt. Carmel; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces nephews; along with a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday September 19, 2013 at Orebank Missionary Baptist Church or anytime at the Klepper home. A service will follow at 7 pm with Rev. David Foster, Rev. David Bolden officiating. Music will be provided by Orebank Missionary Baptist Church Choir and Liz Laney. A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Friday September 20, 2013 at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to caregivers, Teresa McAmis, Rita Poff; and all the staff at Hometown Health Care. The family request in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Klepper family.
