Obituary of Tony Bellamy
Walter Tony Bellamy, 58, of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport.
Tony was a lifelong resident of this area and was a graduate of Church Hill High School. He owned and operated Sunset Video and Firearms in Bloomingdale for several years. He was currently employed with Wal-Mart (Ft. Henry Store). Tony was an avid computer enthusiast and especially a gun enthusiast. He was a very proud and devoted father.
He was preceded in death by his father, W. Thomas Bellamy and his mother-in-law, Lois Leach.
Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Angie Leach Bellamy of the home; three sons, Caleb, Colton and Austin Bellamy of the home; mother, Inez Bellamy; father-in-law, James C. Leach; brother-in-law, Jim Leach, all of Kingsport; along with a host of many dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Monday. September 23, 2013 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday. September 24, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Stout, Officiating. Music will be provided by Mark Hawn.
Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport. Pallbearers will be Donnie Castle, Tony Austin, Michael A. White, Chris Tincher, Rusty Haynes, Ronnie Haynes and Barry Redman. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike White and Zack Ewing.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport, is serving the Bellamy family.
