Obituary of John Alex Kinlaw

Jonesborough - John Alex Kinlaw, Jr., 76, of Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, August 26, 2013 after a brief illness. He was born in Lumberton, NC and lived in this area for the past several years. He was a member of Shekinah Church in Blountville. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Alex Kinlaw, Sr. and Bulah Mercer Kinlaw. He is survived by his sons, David Charles Kinlaw and John A. Kinlaw III; daughter, Deborah F. Sattane; nephews, Knox Kinlaw, Jr. and Sam Kinlaw. A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Shekinah Ministries, 394 Glory Road, Blountville, TN 37617 with Dr. Sue Curran officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Meadowbrook Cemetery, Lumberton, NC with Rev. Steve Little officiating. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown Kingsport is serving the Kinlaw family.
