Obituary of Jeffery Lynn Collins

Jeffery Lynn Collins, 56, of Church Hill, passed away on June 11, 2013 at his residence. Jeff loved the outdoors, and working in his garden. Every chance he could he would go camping and ride horses in the mountains, which he loved to do. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Patsy Collins. He leaves behind the love of his life of 40 years, Patty Collins; four children, Rebecca Qualls and husband, Terry, Dena L. Collins, Dusty H. Collins and Chris S. Collins; special daughter in law, Eva Pichard Vanzant; 10 grandchildren, who he loved to take camping every 4th of July, Tucker, Taylor Ann, Emily, Gracie, Lindsay, Kaitlyn, Clayton, Emma, Chandler and his little buddy, Noah; three brothers, Terry B. Collins and wife, Belinda, Keith E. Collins and Scotty G. Collins; along with many close friends. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Collins family.
