Emogene was a lifetime friend of my Aunt Lucille Stratton (Lucy) during the death of my dear Aunt Lucille Emogene was with us to help with anything we needed.I found out recently Emogene had passed away. My heart was broken I was out of town I was trying to get in touch with Emogene to give her some pictures and memories of the wonderful times they had together. I have tried to locate some of the family to give these items to .I hope the funeral home will pass this along to the family so I can give these pictures and memories to the family

Emogene was our neighbor and our friend for over 25 years. She looked out for us and helped us often. She shared her flowers and plants with us and gave us vegetables from her garden when she was growing one. When she would see us outside working, she would come over and help out. She just could not do enough to help her friends and neighbors. She always came over to check on the grandchildren and I know she kept them in her prayers. We have lost a dear friend, but having such wonderful memories of her gracious acts of kindness will be our comfort. And I know that she is at peace with her Lord, whom she loved, and reunited in spirit with Gene. Please know that you and Bella are in our prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Debbie and Dean Shoun

Sending our deepest sympathy and prayers to the family of Emogene. She was our dearest and sweet neighbor. We will greatly miss watching her work in her yard, checking on sick neighbors, offering to lend a hand, the love she had for her church family, and her sweet smile. God now has you in HIS arms. Love you Emogene!
